Robin Hood's Money Picks

Well we went 3-1 last week and that moves us to 14-9 on the year. Pretty good so far! Like I said, no podcast this week, we’re transitioning to a different schedule and I think we’ll have two every week moving forward instead! Now that being said, I’ve got a few more NCAA picks this week that I think are our best chance at money so let’s get going!

LAST WEEK

WVU (+16.5) vs Oklahoma - W

UCLA (-4) vs Stanford - W

Wisc (-5.5) vs ND - L

Arizona (+28.5) vs Oregon - W

This Week’s Picks

#8 Arkansas @ #2 Georgia (-18)

Okay guys here’s the weird thing about this one. This line opened up at -19.5. So if you got it there, congratulations. Does Vegas know something? Probably. Are we going to bet against them anyway? Yes. Yes we are. Even at 18, I still think this line is just way too high. Georgia does have an elite run defense...and Arkansas moves the ball well by running it. However, this is the best team Georgia has played so far and it’s not close. I feel pretty confident going with Arkansas to cover. That being said, the pick here is the over. The total has gone OVER in 7 of the last 9 games for Georgia. The total has gone OVER in all 6 of UGA's most recent SEC matchups.

Pick : Arkansas (+18.5) but mainly OVER 48.5 (buy an extra point from 49.5)

#14 Michigan @ Wisconsin (-2)

Speaking of running the ball! Michigan ranks fifth nationally in rushing yards per game at 290.75, sixth in yards per carry (6.29), third in rushing rate (73.6%), and tied for first in rushing touchdowns (17). They achieve this with a little thunder and lightning combo from Blake Corum and Hassan Haskins. Wisconsin’s offense has been subpar at best all season and they played poorly last week vs ND. I think this game will be a similar outcome to last week. I don’t see Wisconsin even keeping this one close.

Pick: Michigan (+2), if you’re feeling ballsy go Michigan ML (+110)

#7 Cincinnati (-2) @ #9 ND

Well guys, ND just keeps appearing on my list. And I still think they’ve broken Vegas’ algorithm for them. And if Vegas doesn’t know what’s happening, nobody does. Why is Cincinnati favored? What do they know? I’ll just say this one thing about this game. ND looked good last week. They looked like they may have finally figured some things out and I think they’ll continue to look better. I haven’t seen anything impressive out of the Bearcats this year really either.

Pick: ND (+2)

#3 Oregon (-7.5) @ Stanford

This one might be the easiest one of the week, folks. Stanford couldn’t keep up with UCLA last week, I think this week will be similar. Oregon has a really explosive offense and will only add on to what UCLA did to the Stanford Christmas Trees last week. Look for this one to probably be a blow out.

Pick: Oregon (-7.5)

#21 Baylor @ #19 Ok State

This should be a fun one guys. I had to throw at least one night game in here for you. Ok St is ranked 20th in run defense. Baylor is ranked 6th in run offense. This one is set up to be an absolute battle and I’m here for it. In games like this, the over is usually the safest option. And with Ok St only being favored by 3.5 against a team that averages 42 every game, I like the over even more. BUT GIMME THOSE POINTS

Pick: Baylor (+3.5), try to get it to +2.5 if you can. I do also like OVER 47.5

That should wrap it up for me for the weekend guys. My fellow contributor, Nick Newton has some additional NCAA picks and some NFL picks as well! Make sure to follow us on Instagram and Twitter @RantOnSports.
